comets head at a height of 10 deg at beginning of exposure,
inset is at same scale but different curves from the same images,
FWHM 8.5", out of focus (original scale is 2.2"/px),
knot left of tail in the middle image is a residual bulk image (RBI) in the ccd matrix where the head of the comet was in the 8 images before
